Drop in for an activity or stay for a few hours – kids 12 and under are free! Join Old Colony History Museum for water-themed daily activities during April Vacation week. Morning activities titled, “My Taunton River,” are designed for ages 0-5 and afternoon activities titled, “Adventures of Water,” for ages 6-12. And don’t miss our special guest – the Taunton River Watershed Alliance! The TRWA will be bringing an incredible watershed table and Ms. T, the terrapin (turtle)! See more info below.

11:00amMy Taunton River – Who lives in the river and why must we care for them? Join the Old Colony History Museum to find out! Listen to a water-themed short story, explore the history of the Taunton River inside the museum, and make an easy terrapin (turtle) suncatcher! This program is designed for ages 0-5. Children are free; $5/adult admission.

2:00pmAdventures of Water – We know that water is necessary for all life, but did you know the Taunton River is the reason for the growth of the Old Colony region? Join the Old Colony History Museum for a water-themed short story, explore the history of the Taunton River inside the museum, and make a recycled egg carton terrapin (turtle)! This program is designed for ages 6-12. Children 12 and under are free; $5/adult admission.
