Pollinators, the birds, bats, butterflies, moths, insects, and bees in our local ecosystem, are responsible for the reproduction of over eighty percent of the world’s flowering plants. However, pollinators need help. Since 1947, there has been a sixty percent decline in pollinators in Eastern North America due to climate change, pesticide use, and environmental loss.
