Celebrate the 250th anniversary of raising Taunton’s Liberty & Union flag! Festivities start at Taunton City Hall with a community aerial photo! After a brief ceremony and flag raising with musket firing, all are invited to take part in a free aerial photo in the shape of the numbers 2-5-0. Email [email protected] to let us know who is attending and the number of people in your group. (A confirmation email helps us plan the aerial photo better!)
Then, travel back to 1774 at the Old Colony History Museum for a free Liberty & Union Day celebration with re-enactors, living history displays, hands-on activities, and much more until 4p.m.
