Plate

Object/Artifact

Plate with beveled rim and shallow base. Rim is only ¾" in width. Lighter piece, may be a later form and does not seem colonial revival. Has more of a 1930's feel. Material could be aluminum, a metal LV used around WWII. Markings omit the word 'pewter' that he usually incorporated into the majority of his pewter pieces, leading to the consideration that this may be aluminum. In addition, LV also carried a lighter post-war 1930's, "Berkeley" pewter line, although these were normally marked as such. Bottom etched with model number "#581"
