Inkwell with a hinged lid. Hollow base with remnants of ink and space for most probable glass insert (now missing). Button finial. Stepped base for decoration.

Possibly a jigger. Flat bottom. Sides taper towards bottom. Upper edge slightly outturned. Slightly ovoid shape towards top.

Ladle with round bowl with cut rim. Handle attached to outer side of bowl. Handle curves gently back and tip of the handle has a rounded point. Shape is similar to handles seen in LV catalogues of those used with Jam jars, mayonnaise sets, and Paul Revere-style bowls.

(a) Round bronze metal "Seal of The Society of Arts and Crafts Boston Inc. MDCCCXCVII." This surface shows two figures with shield and flourishes. Opposite side shows laurel and ribbon with the words, "awarded for Merit by the Society of Arts & Crafts/ Lester H. Vaughan/ Boston/ March 16, 1921." Name and date are clearly etched in at a later date. (b) Square leather case with rounded corners. Opens with a push lever. Inside top of case is olive colored silk and bottom is olive colored velvet with an indented area for the metal to rest and a ribbon to place under the metal to help take it out of its case.

Scrap piece of metal with several LV stamps on it: two "pewter" and one "LHVaughan, Taunton" around eagle with beveled surround. Slightly jagged and irregular shape suggests this was a scrap piece used for testing out stamping LV pieces.

Piece from, 2010.11, LV trunk. Round cover of lock reads "Vaughan" in outlined lettering. Interior side is painted red and most likely would have matched the original color of the trunk, which has now faded to a light red. Inside surface shows wear in circular patterns, matching the size and shape of lock on trunk.

Pepper mill with a cylindrical body and a base that curves outward and a rolled edge at bottom. Top crank moves in circular motion and has a scalloped decorative feature. Finial at top of mill and at end of handle are also decorative. Around body, design of small flowers in square boxes.

Pitcher with curved handle that lifts to a point; rounded foot; spout edge is curved. In LV catalogue No. 0138 shows identical form; bottom is etched with model number "#138"

Pitcher with cut rim and open spout. Handle has a decorative peak and tapers a bit to where it attaches to the body of the form.
