Bowl, Sugar
Sugar bowl in colonial revival style. Curved handle. Body has seam along widest point of body. Lid has beveled decoration and a domed circular shape toped with a ball finial. Markings indicate that this is from the later 1930's Berkeley Pewter line. While these two pieces do fit together, the top is not a perfect fit. They may have been married at some point, and were given a linked accession number because they were used as such. Otherwise, the top may have a slight warping, making them not fully fit together.

Box
(a) 16 scalloped sides make up this base. Flat bottom. (b) Top has oval finial. Slightly domed oval top. While these two pieces came in together, they were most likely married together at one point. Oval top does not fit into unusually shaped base very well. They were numbered together since they were in use together before coming to the museum.
