Spoon with circular bowl and squared off handle attached to one side. A series of four beveled bands around step and an additional bumped-out band around top of handle decorates the piece. End of handle curves outward. This decoration was used in various ladles/spoons in LV catalogues in the archive. Bottom etched with model number "#5"

Vaughan/ Worker in Metals/ 8 West Britannia St./ Taunton, Mass./ Member of the Society of Arts and crafts/ Boston, Mass." Top of stamp features his earlier logo of his initials intertwined (L, H, V). Font is an earlier 20th century Arts & Crafts type.
