F.B. Rogers Silver Co.
Showcasing silver-plated and pewter items by F.B. Rogers, a renowned Taunton, Massachusetts manufacturer established in 1883, this collection at the Old Colony History Museum features tumblers, trays, candlesticks, and serving dishes, reflecting the company's legacy of producing elegant and functional household wares during the late 19th and 20th centuries.

Bowl, Punch
Punch bowl set and ladle, made by donor. Cast and mounted floral rim on tray and floral, leaves, and swirls as decoration. Twelve barrel-shaped cups with rolled rim and cast handles with flower at crest.

Candlestick
Pair of candlesticks, silver plate, 6" high; made by Beacon Silver Co., #840. Flared square base and twisted column design.

Candlestick
Two silver plated candlesticks. Each has square beaded and fluted base. Fluted round column with Corinthian Capital, beaded top. Green felt base inserts. Bolted together in three sections.

Casserole
Three part casserole consisting of a: body, b: cover ring and c: cover. Body and cover have partial satin finish. Engraved hummingbird and plant design. Two cast handles.

Electric casserole with Pyrex container, #R1545, made by donor. Scalloped shell handles and finial. Sits on bulbous feet and electric white plastic plug comes out from base. Glass Pyrex insert. Marked: "Do not put in water/ Model No. 154-E 120 Volts 110 Watts UL AC Only 60 Cycle/ F.B. Rogers."

Child's silver plated cup, made by F.B. Rogers Silver Co., #162; engraved tulip pattern.

Silver butter dish, made by F.B. Rogers Silver Company, quadruple silver plate, # 630. Three piece dish with liner. Floral engraving and ball finial on top and ribbed banding around bottom edge. Liner perforated with five '+' designs.

Chafing pan with lid. (a) Circular silver plate chafing dish. Flanged rim with gadrooned trim and rolled lip. Tapered black wooden handle with bun end screws into a reed scroll socket. (b) Double domed lid with flame finial.

Chafing dish stand with burner. (a) Three legged silver plate chafing dish stand. Top ring has protruding ledge for dish placement. Stepped bottom ring has circular cutout for burner. Each cyma curve leg has scroll, acanthus leaf and daisy design at top. Rest of leg gadrooned with husk accent at pad feet. (b) Two part alcohol burner with flanged top and circular opening for drew in wick apparatus and fluid.

Chafing dish stand with burner and water dish. (a) Circular water dish with burnished interior and rolled lip. (b) Three legged chafing dish stand. Circular cut out bottom ring for alcohol burner. Cyma curve struts which are attached via rose head nails to each leg. Each cyma curve leg has scroll and flower design at top. Rest of leg decorated with bands in alternating gadrooning bead designs which end at foliated pad feet. (c) Two part alcohol burner with flanged top and circular opening for screw in wick apparatus.
