History in Bloom
Opens March 3 at the Old Colony History Museum

Experience local history in full bloom. History in Bloom is an innovative, immersive exhibit that reimagines how history is experienced at the Old Colony History Museum.

Students from the Bristol County Agricultural School’s Floriculture Department will create original floral designs inspired by objects from our collection—transforming historic artifacts into sources of living art.

Join us for the opening night event, where ticket holders will have the chance to meet some of the talented students behind the designs and enjoy light refreshments. As you stroll through the exhibits, you’ll see familiar objects in exciting new ways, connecting you to local history like never before.

This special event reflects the Museum’s mission to present local history in engaging and accessible ways, offering visitors a fresh perspective on the stories of the Old Colony. Join us for the opening night and discover how history, art, and creativity come together.
