Event Schedule
11:00 AM – Revolutionary Walking Tour
Check in at the museum and join a procession to the Robert Treat Paine statue for a wreath-laying ceremony with musket fire, followed by a guided walking tour of Taunton’s Revolutionary history.
1:00 PM & 1:30 PM – Gallery Talk with Curator Bronson Michaud
A short gallery talk in the Military Room featuring stories from the American Revolution through objects from the museum’s collection. (Same talk offered twice.)
2:00 PM – Guest Lecture: From Slaves to Soldiers
Local historian and reenactor Jason Roomes explores the African American experience in the American Revolution, including the story of his own ancestor.
